Reviving The Blog(7): Improv Everywhere

I discovered this website about a year ago, and have been following them around ever since. These guys do amazing tricks or "scenes". My favourites are the MP3 Experiment and the No Pants Day (lol), I also liked The Best Game Ever and the Human Mirror which was the first I've heard about them. I still haven't checked out ALL their work, as they've been going on for some years now, but it's good fun whenever I'm bored and wanna see something new and different. Check them out at www.improveverywhere.com .

Here's a sample, The High Five Escalator:

With this post I conclude the Reviving the Blog series :-) Hope you liked it and plz keep the blog alive ...

Reviving The Blog(6): The Godfather

Things I've learned from The Godfather:

We dont talk about business around the dinner table

You dont need to plead the fifth if you are a good liar

A refusal is not an act of a friend

When the boss tells you to push a button on the guy you push the button

Women and children can be careless, men cant be careless

Goddamn FBI dont respect nothin'

Blood is a big expense

A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man

Keep your friends close but your enemies closer

Negotiation and lying are basically the same thing

Don't ever take sides with anybody against the family. Ever

Dead prostitutes make for good leverage

If he starts crying....offer him a drink

If she starts crying....hit her

* After you hit her, her brothers beat the hell out of you then kill you.

If anything in life is certain, if history has taught us anything, its that you can kill anyone

Discontent for money is just a trick of the rich to keep the poor without it

Sicilian women are as dangerous as shotguns

Don't let anybody outside the family know what you are thinking

Don't hate your enemies- it clouds your judgement

Sometimes its dangerous to be an honost man

A lawyer with his briefcase can steal more than a hundred men with guns, but if you got 100 men with guns, don't trade 'em in for some fuckin lawyer!

Don't tell me you're innocent, it insults my intelligence

Vaffanculo you!

Finance is a gun. Politics is knowing when to pull the trigger.

Power wears out those who do not have it.

When they come... they come at what you love.

Treachery is everywhere.

The richest man is the one with the most powerful friends

Your country ain't your blood. Remember that.

For justice we must go on our knees to Don Corleone

The don does not request a second favor once refused the first. Understand?

All the power in the world can't change destiny

Reviving The Blog(2): Watchmen

The film adaptation of "The most celebrated graphic novel of all time" as the trailer proclaims. Personally I read the first out of the 12 issue series and it looked promising, so I'm hoping this would turn out to be a good movie :-)

Reviving The Blog(1): Righteous Kill

hey there
I won't waste a lot of time explaining the lack of posts(exams, agaza and general laziness) but any content is better than no content I say.

Righteous Kill:

My sole reason for seeing this movie was Pacino + De Niro, I love these guys, and a joint venture in which they would share the screen for a large portion of the time seemed like a great idea, especially considering Heat (1995) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113277/ , which was one of the greatest films I have ever seen(if u haven't seen it u must go see it, NOW, i'm serious).

While I enjoyed this movie, it was nowhere as good as heat, Pacino and De Niro have good on screen chemistry but the story wasn't that good, and the plot twist was somewhat predictable, ya3ny mel 2akher Heat yedrab el film dah belgazma.

More revival posts this week.

hopefully....

and plz if u read this comment :-)
